Founded by an American military veteran, Rooftop Republic was built to provide travelers with a higher standard of hospitality, security, and real guidance while visiting Cartagena. After years of travel and firsthand experience, we recognized the need for a place that truly understands what guests expect: clean accommodations, reliable service, and a team that is present and responsive.
Our property features 10 private rooms designed with comfort and style, along with premium shared spaces including a rooftop pool, lounge, and entertainment area. Whether you are here to relax, explore, or enjoy the nightlife, we have created an environment that allows you to experience Cartagena the right way.

On of my best travel experience ever. It was my first time visiting Cartagena Colombia and decided to booked with RR Ctg. The host Jae had a Chauffeur pick me up from the airport who was holding a sign with my name as I exited the airport which made feel like a VIP and also safe since it was my first time in Colombia and the airport is filled with people trying to hustle us Gringos.
I was blown away by the hotel itself which was newIy renovated, and on par with a luxurious 5 star hotel on South Beach in Miami it included a 24 hr security guard, hot water,a stunning rooftop view,rooftop pool,high speed internet and modern decor
.The location itself was in a very safe neighborhood and only a 5 minute walk from a large shopping mall and only a 10 -15 minute drive from Delirium one of the most popular night clubs in Carthagena and a must visit if you're into clubs which also was very convenient
.The icing on the cake was the driver/ tour guide who works with Jae he lived in the States before and spoke English which made him very relateable. He accompanied me on all the historical,natural sites and activities I was interested in visiting as well as local restaurants, stores which was priceless in my opinion
.For this experience I highly recommend RR Ctg for any one looking to visit Cartagena. I know I'll be back

Rooftop Republic CTG was an absolute gem. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and I felt safe the entire time thanks to the strong security setup with cameras, a secure gate, and two way locks for extra peace of mind.
Jae was an outstanding host and genuinely attentive to my needs, making sure I was comfortable and taken care of throughout my stay.
The location is super convenient. Everything you need is just a couple of blocks away, including restaurants, a mall, a casino, ATMs, and facilities for haircuts and manicure pedicure services. It’s perfectly positioned outside of the tourist trap but still central, and the beach is just a quick Uber ride away.
Highly recommended, and I’d definitely stay here again. Thank you!

I have traveled many places good and bad. this was one of the good ones. the security made u feel safe. also everything was in walking distance and what stood out since you are away from the beach the prices of everything drops
significantly. the mall was right around the corner with all you need along with the gym and good local rooftop restaurants. As far as the place it was extremely clean and self sufficient with its own kitchen and chef and the pool on the rooftop. if you are looking for a local vibe then this is it

I recently spent an evening at Rooftop Republic CTG, and it was an absolute delight. The space is immaculate. every detail of the building feels carefully curated and thoughtfully designed. The rooftop itself is truly a standout masterpiece. From the pool and the inviting ambience to the massive screen perfect for watching your favorite sports, everything comes together beautifully. The kitchen also turns out some truly delicious dishes. I’ll definitely be coming back!
